Anyone who knows me personally understands why. All of my kids have four legs and fur. (Except for the birds, fish and ducks.) I'm a realist: I can't make a living working dogs*, but I can make a living writing. See Spot Write is

hours are spent in animal therapy work and K9 search and rescue
with the Indiana Task Force 1 (FEMA). *although my company, Geese Wranglers LLC, is a great spring-fall gig....
